With a Bachelor of Education from McGill University, a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University (Major in Sociology, Minor in Sustainability Studies), and five years of experience as an educator, I’ve always believed that learning is deeply connected to our values and intentions. As a mother of four and an educator, I’ve seen firsthand how nature shapes curiosity, resilience, and growth, both in children and adults. My background in sociology and sustainability has taught me that our relationship with the natural world is foundational to how we live and learn.

I’ve come to realize that gratitude for nature isn’t innate, it’s cultivated. Over the years, I’ve seen how outdoor learning unlocks creativity, problem-solving, and emotional well-being in ways that traditional classrooms can’t. Nature isn’t just a backdrop; it’s a teacher. The seasons reflect life’s transitions, challenges, and opportunities, offering endless lessons in resilience, reflection, and growth.

At Forest Play, I’m excited to blend my passion for outdoor education with my belief in learning through nature. Whether it’s fostering curiosity, encouraging creative play, or helping kids connect with the world around them, I’m here to make the forest a space where children thrive.
