KAZE-NOKO Forest Preschool is offered by an educator, Yukiko Abe, who values a learning-through-play approach and dreams of sharing the joys of being outside with children and their families. When she met Verdun and NDG neighborhood parents who had a strong desire for their children to have more child-led learning experiences in our beautiful urban nature/outdoor settings, it was clear that we needed this project to come alive. We hope to raise children who are independent thinkers, problem solvers, and caring towards each other and our mother earth. Located in Verdun & NDG.
Groovegarten Music

Groovegarten Music was created to cultivate the musical connection that parents and caregivers innately have with their children. Led by classically trained singer, songwriter and actor, Alana Cosgrove, classes are filled with singing, movement, instrument exploration and more! Located in Hudson.
We offer classes for babies, mixed-mixed groups and big kids - all designed to enhance their musicality and help them along the path to being life-long music lovers and music makers. With a focus on play and exploration rather than formal learning methods, children are encouraged to embody sound and rhythm at an early age in an authentic and joyful way.
Mother & Infant Circles

Come snuggle up with your baby and let go and relax with a warm cup of tea in a safe and supportive circle of women nestled by the fire cozy inside on a cold day or in a nearby forest and healing stream during the warmer months.
Our special offering allows mothers the space they need to feel deeply nurtured, held & supported.
